Labor and Industry, Southwest Regional Office

Services available through this office include: apprenticeship sponsor and apprenticeship registration, investigation of alleged employer labor law violations including failure to pay wages earned and child labor infractions, workplace complaint, workplace fatality, and workplace inspection, to determine compliance with Virginia Occupational Safety and Health regulations (VOSH), and free voluntary Occupational Safety and Health surveys for small employers.

The Southwest Regional, as well as Lynchburg and Abingdon Field Offices provide service to businesses and employees of the Southwest Virginia area.
