Silver Citizen Club is a division of Culpeper County Parks and Recreation and offers a program for active adults and senior citizens age 55 and better to meet for fellowship and socialization. The Club meets Every Wednesday from 10 am until 2 pm at the Culpeper County Library, in the meeting room. Members bring a covered dish to share for lunch.
Membership fee includes social events, water aerobics, seated fitness, bridge, card games, discounted trips and speakers.
The Club also takes occasional local trips, attends shows or volunteers in the community and actively supports fellow senior citizens.
For many of Culpeper's seniors, the program provides an environment where lasting friendships are created. The Club is a fun group that is very active in the community. Currently around 200 members who provide a great network for each other. Come and join us.
