Who We Are
At Sentara RMH Medical Center, outpatient nutrition services offers medical nutritional counseling for individuals or groups related to diabetes, weight management, cardiac, renal, gastrointestinal and other medical conditions. Individual and group counseling for adults, children, and families on many nutritional and weight management issues. Led by registered dietitians, nurses and health educators these sessions are effective for: reducing the risk of cancer and heart disease, medical conditions that require special dietary needs, weight management, managing diet for a chronic illness.
Weight Management Program is offered periodically in eight week total lifestyle approach to weight control. There is a charge for Live Fit sessions.
