Augusta Audiology Associates provides comprehensive evaluations on the balance and vestibular system. Specialized equipment is used to monitor the eye movements of the patient who is asked to complete a number of visual tests and who is moved into various positions. The recorded eye movements are then analyzed to determine the cause of symptoms and recommendations and referrals are made.

Audiology Associates also offers a complete battery of tests to aid in the identification of auditory processing deficits. Once the weak skill areas are identified, recommendations are made to help manage the problem. Listening strategies are devised and sometimes assistive equipment is used to help with attention and listening in background noise. Often therapy is recommended to train the weak skill(s), especially in young children.
