Movie night at The Center will be on the first and third Wednesday of each month. April movies are: Wednesday, April 5 - Wadjda (documentary, 2012). Persistent 10-year-old Wadjda would like nothing more than a new bicycle so she can beat her friend (a boy) in a race. But it's going to take some ingenuity to get one -- especially in her culture, which sees bikes as a threat to a girl's virtue. Multiple award-winning, including EDA's Outstanding Achievement by a Woman in the Film Industry, Boston Society of Film Critics Awards Best Foreign Language Film. Free and open to all. Wednesday, April 19, 5-7pm (1982) Michael Dorsey (Dustin Hoffman) transforms himself into a woman to prove he can get hired on a soap opera. But Michael has an enviable problem when his alter ego, Dorothy, becomes daytime television's hottest ticket. Funny, poignant, multiple award-winning films (Best supporting actress, actor, screenplay, etc.) that you'll want to see again after all these years.
