Botetourt County Sheriff's Department has announced that they are able to help with drug disposal of old prescription medications. They have a med-return dropbox and a unit that can destroy old medications on-site at the Sheriff's Department. You can drop off your old/unused medications during regular business hours. They have also offered to Come to Your House to pick up expired or unused prescriptions. No liquids. No needles. Drop off or request a pick up.
