Caregiver to a Loved One in Care Community, Virtual Support Group

Caregiver Support Groups. The need for caregivers to be connected to a community of support is greater now than ever before. In these challenging times, we are offering virtual support groups led by experienced facilitators via telephone or online. Alzheimer’s Association caregiver support groups are a safe and supportive place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia. The Southeastern Virginia Chapter hosts several virtual support groups throughout the month. Visit our Chapter Calendar to register. All of our support groups are held via Zoom and can be accessed by computer or phone. The sessions are free, but registration is required so that we may send you log in information. Call 800.272.3900 if you need help or want more information. The group that meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month from 2-3 pm is designed for those with a loved one in a care community.
