Insurance Counseling

Medicare Assistance and Counseling provides free counseling to Medicare beneficiaries, the disabled, and uninsured persons on available health benefits and options. Staff will assist with selecting a Medicare prescription drug plan, comparing Medicare Advantage and supplement plans, and help with applying for the Medicare savings plan.

Free, personalized, confidential telephone (help-line) counseling and assistance are provided to help individuals understand their Medicare rights, benefits, and entitlements. Caseworkers can also assist the uninsured and low-income with eligibility and enrollment requirements for Healthcare Insurance Marketplace coverage.
