Who We Are

As a division of the Department of Public Works, Suffolk Transit provides fixed-route transit services to Suffolk’s core downtown service area. Virginia Regional Transit partners with the city of Suffolk to operate the service. Bus routes and schedules and fare information is available on the website.

All buses are equipped with bicycle racks, seatbelts, and wheelchair lifts for individuals with disabilities or mobility impairments. Paratransit service is offered for those individuals who have a temporary or permanent disability that does not allow them to take advantage of regular route service. The ADA service application is available on the website.
