Who We Are

The Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (VDDHH) Outreach program offers information and referral; workshops; training; a device demonstration center; newsletter; meeting room; classes in sign language and coping skills; and an assistive equipment loans program called The Technology Assistance Program (TAP).

The program also provides consultation to schools, business, churches, government agencies and organizations; speaker's bureau for people interested in learning more about hearing loss.

Outreach Providers working with the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing can provide you additional information. This service is provided through a grant from the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
