Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

The Winchester Community Mental Health Center, Inc. Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is a short-term outpatient program designed specifically for adult patients who are experiencing behavioral or emotional difficulties, but who do not require (or no longer require) the intense level of psychiatric care provided by our partial hospitalization/day treatment program. IOP is ideal for stabilizing those individuals with a history of frequent relapse.  Eligible patients have acute symptoms of depression and/or anxiety and may be at risk for hospitalization, or maybe "stepping down" from a hospital stay.

Referrals are accepted from hospitals, physicians, psychologists, psychotherapists, patients, and social service agencies.
