Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development
Who We Are
The Emergency Home and Accessibility Repair Program (EHARP) provides funds to remove urgent, emergency health and safety hazards, and it also addresses physical accessibility barriers for low-income Virginians. Assistance is available to occupants from local nonprofit organizations based on income. Eligible repairs can include plumbing, structural, electrical, roofing, wheelchair ramps, and handicapped accessible appliances. Program is at no cost to client.
