Who We Are
Piedmont Area Regional Transit (PART) offers a deviated fixed route service to the citizens of the City of Martinsville City and Henry County. The service operates Monday through Friday between 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. The routes and schedules are available on the website.
The fare is currently free.
Individuals who are Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) certified may request the van to deviate off its route to make pick-ups and drop-offs. This distance may not exceed 3/4 of a mile off the route. For more information regarding this service call (800) 964-5707 Ext. 3 or 4. An application is available to be downloaded on the website.

Application for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) certification must be submitted and approved by RADAR prior to scheduling a deviated ride. All ADA-deviated rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

Service hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 5:30 pm, Monday - Friday. When Martinsville City schools close due to inclement weather, PART service is not provided. Announcements are made on local radio, television stations, the website, and the Facebook page. Service is not provided on New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Intake Process
