Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel Medical Toll Program

Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel  (CBBT) Medical Toll Program provides tickets to Eastern Shore residents traveling across the Bay for medical appointments based on income and family size.  Eastern Shore Rural Health System (ESRHS) administers the medical toll pass program. You don’t have to be a Rural Health patient to qualify.  The application must be completed prior to your first visit for any Rural Health service. The application is available on Forms and Policies 

For non-Medicaid patients, tickets are available at the Atlantic, Eastville, and Onley centers. 

If you have Medicaid, you will need to contact the Health Department for tickets. Tickets can be obtained from the corporate office and Atlantic, Bayview, Franktown, and Onley community health centers. 
 

Note: Eastern Shore Rural Health System partners with the Eastern Shore Community Services Board to provide affordable transportation for patients who need a ride to our centers. Rides are based on a sliding scale and are available to every patient regardless of insurance or income status.
