Insurance Counseling, VICAP and Medicare Part D, Madison County

Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) offers free and confidential counseling to Virginia’s Medicare beneficiaries.  It assists people who need help in understanding Medicare, Medicare D, Advantage Plans and Supplement or Medigap Policies.  VICAP counselors can explain the benefits of each plan, enrollment periods, and help clients understand the Medicare process. They can also enroll people in a Medicare D plan of their choice during open enrollment and can assist with filling out applications for extra help to pay for Medicare costs.
