Advocacy for Women's Issues

Domestic and Sexual Violence Services, formerly Office for Women and Domestic and Sexual Violence, promotes full equality of women and girls in Fairfax County, advises the Board of Supervisors on concerns of women and girls of Fairfax County; presents possible solutions and effects long-term change through public education, policy reform and building community partnerships.

The goal is to increase client safety through understanding of available resources and options to provide support to clients. Domestic and Sexual Violence Services' community-based advocates provide court and legal advocacy as well as housing and economic support. All services are free and confidential. In addition, free language interpretation and translation can be provided upon request.
