Who We Are
Western Tidewater CSB is one of 40 Community Service Boards or Behavioral Health Authorities that serve residents of Virginia and provides community-based mental health, intellectual disabilities and substance abuse services to the citizens with those disabilities.

Mental health services under the Child and Family Services include evaluation, play therapy, individual, group and family mental health and/or substance abuse counseling, chemotherapy, in-home services and consultation. Services are offered to children and adolescents.
Geriatric Services - Offers individual and group counseling, case management, family adjustment, psychiatric hospital discharge planning. This program is designed for individuals over the age of 60.
