Who We Are
Center for Pastoral Counseling of Virginia (CPC) has an office at Annandale United Methodist Church. Counseling is provided for individuals, groups, couples and families throughout the lifespan. Clients come from all faiths as well as those who embrace no faith tradition. Interfaith counseling uses holistic approach respecting spiritual and emotional needs. Makes no attempts to convert.
CPC counselors are trained to work with you on a variety of issues including but not limited to: anxiety, children, cross-cultural or racial identity, depression, eating disorders, elderly, family, relationship, or marital issues, phobias, sexual, physical, or emotional abuse, spiritual development, substance abuse, terminal or chronic illness, women's issues, and work or professional issues.
Many of our counselors are covered by insurance plans such as Tricare, Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield and many others. Those counselors who are not covered by insurance are always willing to work with you on a sliding fee scale to make sure that your counseling is affordable to you. Funding is also available through "The Circle of Angels" which is a Low Income Client Assistance Fund.
The entrance to the counseling center is on the side of the church (facing Columbia Pike) on the lower level.
