Driver Improvement Clinic

Safety & Compliance Services offers a Driver Improvement Clinic. This is the course citizens can take if they wish to reduce the number of points they have due to a traffic violation or if you have been court-ordered or DMV required to take the class. 

Educates drivers in collision prevention techniques. Promotes a driver attitude of mutual understanding, courtesy and cooperation when behind the wheel and on the road. Contains the most recent research on preventing deaths and injuries utilizing training techniques. Also includes a course for coaching the School Bus Driver and transporting those with special needs.  A successfully completed class credits up to 5 safe driving points per every 24 months.

Accepts students from outlying areas if they will come to Roanoke for classes.
