Medical Transportation

Valley Medical Transport provides medical transportation for patients. Requests for services are coordinated from the Central Dispatch Center located in Winchester. Staff includes Emergency Medical Technician paramedics, Emergency Medical Technician cardiac technicians, and basic Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).

Services are covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most major health insurance carriers if the transport is medically necessary. Wheelchair van transports are normally covered by state Medicaid programs, but not Medicare or commercial insurance.
