Who We Are
The Breast Center at Lewis-Gale Medical Center offers breast cancer diagnostic and detection technology, treatment options, prevention education and more. Multi-specialty physician services are conveniently available in one place to provide a total spectrum of care.
In addition to a full staff of accredited mammography technologists, Lewis-Gale radiologists, general surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists are on-site to examine patients and interpret diagnostic results.

The breast care procedures include ultrasound, MRI, biopsy of the breasts, sentinel node biopsy, and stereotactic biopsy.
