Who We Are

The Grayson County Health Department, part of the Mount Rogers Health District,  seeks to achieve and maintain optimum personal and community health by emphasizing health promotion, disease prevention, and environmental protection.  

Clinic services include communicable disease testing, counseling, and control, family planning, health education programs and counseling, hypertension screenings, immunizations, maternal health program, nutrition counseling and education, women's health, school health services, vital statistics, and the  Women, Infant, and Children (WIC) Nutrition program.

In addition to these clinical services, the department also offers programs in disease prevention, environmental health, emergency preparedness, epidemiology, nursing home screening, and more.
