Who We Are
Virginia Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (VICAP) is a free counseling program for individuals of any age. VICAP helps them to understand health insurance, ie, Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, long term care insurance and medical bills. Assistance in deciding about Medicare Supplement Insurance or Medigap and/or Long Term Care insurance is also provided. Counseling can be provided by telephone or in person. Will also assist eligible clients with filing insurance papers, understanding insurance policies and Medicare processes.
