Who We Are

The Dental Hygiene Program at Old Dominion University provides comprehensive dental hygiene care at its on-campus health care facility from September through June. These services are available to Old Dominion University students, faculty, and staff and to the local community.

Provides preventive oral health services performed by students under supervision; services include oral inspection, X-rays, oral prophylaxis, topical fluoride application, and oral health education and dental disease information, impressions for construction of study models, nutritional counseling, dental sealants, athletic mouth protectors.

Minimal fees are charged to cover the expense of supplies used during care. Fees are to be paid at the first appointment.  Personal checks, cash and credit cards are accepted.

Clinic will serve patients who are HIV positive. Health Education provides nutritional counseling on a selected basis.
