American Sign Languages

Piedmont Virginia Community College offers sign communication classes. PVCC cannot guarantee course frequency; course typically offered in the Fall and Spring Semesters. The class introduces the fundamentals of American Sign Language (ASL) used by the deaf community. Focuses on communicative competence. Develops gesture skills as a foundation for ASL enhancement.
