Ready to take your home gardening to the next level? Want to compost but don’t have room? Looking for a year-round source of fertilizer? Vermiculture, or worm composting, may be the answer for you. Newport News Master Gardeners will be hosting a Vermiculture workshop at Go Green Expo. Learn about the benefits of raising worms in your own home and walk away with your own complete worm composting bin.

The cost to participate in this workshop is only $25 per bin, and will be held in the Pavilion of the Brittingham Center.
Space is limited, so register early by calling the Newport News Virginia Cooperative Extension Office at 757-591-4838 or by registering online at: http://www.nngogreenexpo.org/vermiculture-class
If you choose to participate in this event, please be aware that you will need to take your compost bin home in a vehicle large enough to accommodate a 12 gallon storage container.
